United Way of Cumberland County partnered with Freebird Communications to serve as their full- service marketing department. We handle all aspects of their marketing efforts, including campaigns, newsletters, social media, event planning, partnership communications, and fundraising strategies.
By working closely with their team, we help amplify United Way’s mission and connect with the community in meaningful ways. From crafting impactful visuals and planning events to managing their online presence and fostering partnerships, our goal is to ensure their message inspires action and drives support for the programs that make a difference in Cumberland County every day.

We planned and executed the end-to-end marketing campaign for United Way of Cumberland County’s signature annual fundraiser, driving more than $150,000 in donations. From on-brand print collateral and digital assets to live social media coverage and on-site support, our team captured every moment in real time. After the event, we produced a dynamic highlight reel and testimonial videos that amplified the evening’s success and fueled continued community engagement.

We had the pleasure of spearheading the United Way “Over the Edge” fundraising event. This unique initiative by various United Way chapters offers participants the opportunity to rappel down prominent local buildings while raising funds for United Way.
We raised over $35,000 in funds and sponsorship for this event while bringing in many local news outlets, radio stations, and publicity for this city-wide event.
