Rise Recovery, a nonprofit, in San Antonio, TX dedicated to helping youth, young adults, and families impacted by substance use disorders. Rise, partners with Freebird Communications to share their mission and connect with the community in more impactful ways. We act as their marketing department, helping them create meaningful campaigns (fundraising and community), manage their online presence, and tell their story in a way that inspires action. Whether it’s crafting visuals, planning events, or building strategies, our goal is to make sure Rise Recovery’s message reaches the people who need it most and to support the incredible work they do every day.

Holistic Marketing Services

We act as Rise Recovery’s marketing department. We handle everything they need for marketing, social media, advertising, and public relations. We’ve helped them go from zero media mentions to monthly media mentions, from sporadically posting to having consistent and daily posting. They went from occasional newsletters to 1-3 scheduled emails a month! Their social media grew tremendously, with 150% growth and their marketing grew to 100,000+ impressions a month.

We created and executed the marketing strategy and campaign for Rise’s largest fundraising event of the year, which raised more than $100,000. We provided all marketing collaterals, social media, and digital products and had a marketing staff at the event to capture live content and event recap content. We also provided event videography and a recap inspirational video of the event for promotional purposes.

EXPANDING RISE RECOVERY’S IMPACT

FUNDRAISER & DIGITAL CAMPAIGN

During the 24-hour statewide Big Give Fundraiser, we helped our client exceed their $20,000 goal. We created a campaign strategy focused on raising money for their annual family retreat with heartfelt captions, photos of previous retreats, video stories, testimonials, and more. We covered every platform and ensured we had someone on social media at all times to respond to questions and receive funds.

VIDEOGRAPHY

We were honored to produce the $100,000 Impact SA Grant video submission for Rise Recovery. We managed the project from beginning to end; storytelling, scripting, interviewee coaching, finding actors, scheduling a run-of-show, and full video production services. We also provided drone footage of the campus and expedited a quick turnaround to meet the required submission timeframe. 

When Rise Recovery needed an online presence as transformative as its programs, we designed more than a website, we built a welcoming digital sanctuary.
